Customized, laid and styled so the only question is where you got your hair done.

Done right, start to finish

A great install is in the details: a lace cut to your hairline, a part that looks like it grew there, edges laid soft. That’s what I do.

Glued or glueless, sleek or curly, a bold color or a natural shade. Bring your own unit or ask me about sourcing one, and we’ll plan the look together.

How booking works

  1. Text me a photo of the look and tell me if you have a unit.
  2. I send your quote and open dates.
  3. A $50 deposit holds your spot; it comes off your total.
  4. Come with hair washed and dry so we can braid down or flatten it.

What does a wig install include?

A consultation, prepping your natural hair, customizing the lace to your hairline, securing the unit and styling it.

Do I bring my own wig for an install?

You can bring your own unit, or ask about having one sourced for you.

How much does a wig install cost in Los Angeles?

At Mz Purple, wig installs start at $120. The final price is set at your consultation.

Is it better to get a wig or a sew-in?

A wig is better if you like changing looks and want easy access to your own hair. A sew-in is better if you want one look and no daily effort.

How long does a wig install last?

A glued install can hold a couple of weeks or more with care. A glueless wig lasts as long as you like since you take it on and off yourself.

How ordering works

  1. Order by Thursday for Sunday or Monday delivery, or pickup.
  2. Your first order is a one-time order. After that, you can switch to a weekly subscription: it repeats automatically, and you can text by Thursday to change or skip a week.
  3. I confirm every order and your total by text.
  4. Share any allergies when you order. Allergens listed are from our recipes; dishes are made in a kitchen that also handles shellfish, fish, milk, eggs, wheat, soy and sesame.
